LIDC WEBINAR: Green Claims – legal framework in Germany / EU

The LIDC will be holding a webinar on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 14:00 – 15.00 pm (CET) / 1-2 pm (UK).

This webinar will provide participants with an overview of the current legal framework for green claims in Germany, highlighting recent regulatory changes and their broader European context.

The session will also offer an international perspective and share recent insights on greenwashing and greenhushing, emphasizing their impact on corporate communications and marketing strategies.

We will conclude with an outlook on emerging trends and challenges in the area of green claims.

SPEAKER          

Anna-Kristine Wipper is Partner at PwC, specializing in intellectual property and unfair competition law. Prior to joining PwC Legal, she was a partner at a Big 4 law firm and worked in a specialized IP boutique. She is actively involved in national and international professional bodies such as GRUR, the International Trademark Association (INTA) and LIDC.

The session will be moderated by Jennifer Beal

Jennifer Beal is a lawyer for unfair competition law and Head of the Berlin Office of the Wettbewerbszentrale e.V. in Berlin. In October 2022, Jennifer was elected as Deputy General Secretary at the LIDC and is part of the LIDC team for organising webinars. She also chairs the LIDC working group on unfair competition which meets online 2 – 3 times a year.

The webinar is free for LIDC members, whilst there will be a registration fee of €30.00 for anyone wishing to register who is not a member.

An online link to join the webinar will be circulated via email to all those who have registered. The webinar will be conducted in English.
