{"id":6,"date":"2022-03-28T17:34:37","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T15:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lidc\/congress\/2022\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2026-04-23T11:13:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T10:13:51","slug":"accueil-3-2-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ligue.org\/congress\/2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>We are pleased to announce that this year\u2019s LIDC Congress will take place in Bucharest from October 15 to 18.<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>2026 marks two milestones: <strong>150 years since the birth of Constantin Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i<\/strong>, Romania\u2019s most celebrated artist,<strong> and 100 years since Bird in Space, the subject of a famous lawsuit in the US, redefined art &#8211; and the law.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i\u2019s vision reshaped the boundaries of art and legal interpretation, <strong>the LIDC 2026 Congress <\/strong>will explore how law must evolve in the age of <strong>artificial intelligence, digital creation, and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The congress will take place in the heart of Bucharest, in the historic <strong>InterContinental Ath\u00e9N\u00e9E Palace.<\/strong> A city of bold contrasts &#8211; where Belle \u00c9poque boulevards meet vibrant contemporary culture \u2013 Bucharest is a place where history meets innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The congress brings together over 200 participants from approximately 25 countries, and around 30 international speakers (including from the CJEU, the European Commission and national competition authorities, EUIPO, EPO, OSIM, ORDA).
